The position

Paul Janssen Futurelab Leiden is looking for a proactive and creative communication and PR advisor. You develop on the basis of input from the content experts, a communication and PR strategy to recruit participants for the online and on-campus courses that Paul Janssen Futurelab Leiden offers. In addition, you develop US-English texts for various media channels such as the website, social media, brochures, standard e-mail messages and scripts for animations and videos. Finally, you edit US-English texts for teaching material and you will contribute proactively  to the continuous development of our e-learning platform.

The department

Paul Janssen Futurelab Leiden offers international high-level online and on-campus courses to train graduated biomedical scientists from academia and industry who wish to extend their skills and expertise both in entrepreneurship and in the discovery and development of novel medical interventions (e.g. medical products, medical devices, medical nutrition) and strive to become the future leaders in the biomedical field. The department has currently three employees. You report to the Director of Paul Janssen Futurelab Leiden.

The profile

You have a Higher Vocational Education or university degree in the field of Communications and PR strategy. You also master the US-English language excellent, both verbally and written. You have affinity with the biomedical sector and education for professionals. Finally, you have a customer-oriented attitude and you will be able to provide Paul Janssen Futurelab Leiden an international and professional presentation.

We offer

You will be employed on the basis of a 24-hour week. The appointment is for two years. The salary depends on your qualifications and experience with a maximum of € 4,152 gross per month based on a full time position (scale 10, CLA for University Hospitals).
