We are focussing on biomedical professionals. Most of these professionals are super-specialized in a certain area but they lack knowledge of the whole development process of a new medical invention.

Because of this, it can be difficult for them to take the next step in their career to a director position. It could even be that a specialist has the feeling that he cannot take any further steps and eventually decides to retrain for a position where he or she is not very happy. It is also possible that because of a lack of knowledge, certain product development steps are taking way longer than needed of cost extra money.

Now onto our solution. We a creating post-graduate blended training and courses. Blended education means a combination of online and on-campus education. We defined 5 focus areas that describe the way we want to teach.

1 - Learning experience
Combining busy work and private life with education and training can be very demanding. It is hard to stay motivated and to give the training enough priority. Mixing education with entertainment helps you to stay focused. Learning should be fun too.

The best way to learn something new is to learn from real-life R&D projects.
3 - Blended learning
If you want to learn a skill in-depth, you should learn in a blended way. You can start with learning the skill and knowledge online but you perfect it in a life situation where participants learn from their mistakes in a safe educational environment.

An education and training program with interdisciplinary courses will add value if there is coherence between these courses.

Meeting fellow participants with the same ambition but the different background is great for learning and building a network.
