The above case description was based largely on a nutrient study published in 2017 by Van de Rest et al., entitled Dose-dependent effects of oral tyrosine administration on plasma tyrosine levels and cognition in aging (Nutrients; 9:1279).
The study was approved by the accredited MREC
of Wageningen University.
